European Union 3G & 4G (LTE) Band

In November, 2012, the European Commission adopted new rules clearing the way for the frequency band 1920-1980 MHz, paired with 2110-2170 MHz, to be used for 4G (LTE) services, in addition to its existing designated use for 3G services.
