Aural Broadcast Auxiliary Stations (950 MHz STL band)

This band of frequencies is used by U.S. radio broadcasters for studio-to-transmitter (STL) and intercity relay (ICR) links to transport aural program material from the originating point to the broadcast transmitter. The band is subdivided into 25 kHz segments that are stacked to form a channel up to a maximum authorized bandwidth of 300 kHz, except as noted in the part 74 rules (47CFR74.501). Modulation is typically analog FM or various forms of digital modulation.
