Experimental Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Systems

Experimental ultra-wideband (UWB) systems have been developed in the 30—50 MHz spectrum. These high data rate transmissions use ground or surface wave propagation to communicate over distances of several kilometers, through foliage and buildings and over hills. Most UWB technology uses higher bands.
