Amateur Radio 12 m Band
|
This band is allocated on a primary basis to amateur radio in all three ITU Regions. According to the ITU, this band is used "particularly during the daytime and when sunspot activity is high."
In the U.S., the ARRL has established the following band plan. The band plan may apply in other countries as well:
Frequency (kHz): Use
24920 - 24925: RTTY
24925 - 24930: Packet
Although this band is also allocated to the amateur-satellite service, there is presently no known amateur satellite use of this band.
