Amateur Radio 10 m Band

This band is allocated on a primary basis to amateur radio in all three ITU Regions. According to the ITU, this band "this band is used particularly during the daytime and when sunspot activity is high." When propagation conditions are good, this is a heavily used band.
In the U.S., the ARRL has established the following band plan. The band plan may apply in other countries as well:

28200 - 28300: Beacons
28300 - 29300: Phone
28680: SSTV
29000 - 29200: AM
29300 - 29510: Satellite Downlinks
29520 - 29590: Repeater Inputs
29600: FM Simplex
29610 - 29700: Repeater Outputs
The band is also used for downlinks from several amateur radio satellites, including OSCAR 7 and some of the Radio Sputnik (RS) series of Russian amateur satellites.
